I arrived at school this morning feeling excited because we were going to have PE again with Coach O'Kelley. We have a different Coach normally and he is awesome and we also have lots of fun with him.
The first thing we did in wake up shake up was a hula hoop challenge. The hoola hoop challenge took lots of strategy, concentration, and teamwork because you had to put your legs through the hula hoop and then your body. We (room 15) found this easy because we work really well together but you couldn't do them both at the same time. We needed teamwork because we had to cheer each other on. Next we did 10 push ups and 20 sit ups - it was exhausting and then at morning meeting we were all a little bit tired.
We really liked having coach O,Kelly because we had not seen her in a long time.
Today we had wake up shake up but this shake up wasn’t like any other well we say that in a good way.
Our old P.E Coach (Coach O’Kelley) took us near High Tech High School. For Wake up, Shake up this is going to happen every other Friday. Once we got there we started we warmed up by doing sit-ups and push-ups. Then after we did a hula hoop exercise (read all about it in Cayden's post above) we did a relay race.
So there were 8 cones and 5 people lined up behind each cone. So one person ran to the other side of the grass and then came back and got one person from there team and did the same thing the other person did until we got all of our team and ran to the other side and whoever got there first won! It was so fun it took a lot of peoples breath away. Then we did the same thing but back wards we started with 5 people then we decreased to 1 it was fun!
