Biographies are about real life stories. They are made of the facts, memories, and main thing that a person is known for. They’re stories of people that could be anyone. Me, you or a guy in Russia.
Now, we will tell you what we have done and are going to do. At first, we started off with a little packet of interview questions. We asked closed questions first and then open questions to find out information about our partners. Then we read lots of early life sections of different biographies to help us know what information to include. We realized that most early life sections contain a mixture of facts and memories and details about the person's personality. We used these examples to help us write a first line and then we wrote down the facts and memories that we wanted to include and put them in a grid with only a few words about the other person.

Then, to help us organize our paragraphs, we cut up sections, arranged them and then stuck them on to blue paper. Once we put everything on the blue peace of paper we glued it in our journals and used it to help us write sentences to create our first draft.
The next day we had no clue what we were going to do next with our biographies. Then Ms. Chown pulled out our pages that had been copied. They were neatly stuck on lovely orange paper. We all got into groups and said what we liked about each one on sticky notes. The reason we do this, is so we could learn more about each other. We also said what we wanted to hear more about.

We felt like this experience was to help us with are writing (which it did) and to learn more about each other. We learned that everybody has a different life story and everybody’s special. Now, we hope you could try to write a biography about someone at home or around the world.
