The protocol mini-plays are almost here!
We have now created a grand total of 3 mini plays to show how we follow classroom protocols. See below.
STOP PRESS! STOP PRESS! STOP PRESS! The last movie will be filmed on Friday.
How were these movies created?
First we decided on the protocols in order to help us work we as a class, respect each other and be swift in our reactions. Then we divided into groups and made a play about each one. The first time we did it, we got a little off topic and ended up just having fun acting (especially the people who were playing Ms. Chown and trying out their English accents).
So what happened next?
Well, next we got kind, helpful and specific feedback from the class and rehearsed again.
So is that what I'm watching?
Oh no, we worked much harder than that! We then made a first draft movie, watched that with Ms. Chown, decided what we were doing well and what would be even better if. Then we moved on to our final rehearsals and final recordings.
What is the main difference between the first movie and the second draft?
The main different is how clear each scene is and how hard we are trying to be still when we are not talking. You can still hear some pretty spectacular British accents though!
