The grandparents/special friends day was, how should I say this…
...AWESOME!
One thing that we did was pretended to have a magic box and we wrote what we thought was in the the box, what it was made out of, and what we would do in it (see Nora and Sophia's blog post below).
Then we actually made a box. We made the box by using a net on card stock paper. We could make a triangular pyramid box, a cube box, different prisms and many, many more.
First, we cut out the black lines and then folded along the dotted lines, and then glued the shaded lines and viola! We had made our box. Here is what some people in our class thought about making the boxes.

- Sergio: I felt good.
- Isaac: I felt very, very, very, very good
- Allan: NOT GOOD! It was hard!
- Thaison: I thought it went well, I actually made something for a friend.
- Quinn: I thought it was spectacular and wonderful.
- Andrew: I wasn't here and nor was Ethan.
