Dear Ms. Chown
This year was a blast. Ups and downs and animal hounds! I had a lot of fun in this class. I loved all the games like the key game and wink. We had a lot of silly songs for example: Alice the Camel, Tra-la-la-la-la and A-roosh-shah-hah.
When we went on that safari to the safari park I had a lot of fun having pictures taken and getting to see new creatures. My favorite animal was the cheetah. When I saw it up close I was a little scared and worried then I got interested and loved seeing it so close. I really think Ms. Chown should take her next class there. I loved every other field trip but the safari field trip was my favorite one of all.
Operation Story Cushion the best project of all it involves military students , cushions and recordings. Let me tell you what it is…
Operation Story Cushion was where we gave cushions to kids that have their mom or dad in the military. Everything was hand sewing except for the last part which is sewing the outside after we do that we make a pocket so we can put the recording. In the recording is there mom’s or dad’s voices saying I love you, I'll be home soon and you’ll be okay. We gave our pillows out on a Monday at Dewey Elementary. The person I gave a pillow to was named Shia she was shy but was happy when she got the pillow. Before I gave out pillow, I did a speech and said what I had put in to this pillow. But when I gave the pillow to shia I found out the recording was gone when I saw that I was scared that my person wasn’t going to get a recording I told Ms. Chown about the incident then she said to record it again I did record it again and shia got the recording the next day so in the end I was pretty happy.
It was a tuesday when we went to the Coggan Family Aquatic Complex. I was feeling excited when I got there but all of a sudden I was scared I was going to drown but I didn’t. In fact, I swam end to end when it was 10 feet high. I could have drowned but I didn’t. In fact I was having lot of fun.
After I was done with being in the pool, I played cards with Elijah 1 -0 then I got food to eat. The food was delicious, like reel delicious (which is a place that supported us for Operation Story Cushion). After I ate, I put my clothes on but then a little bit later my teacher said I should go back in the pool. So I changed and went in the pool and the jacuzzi. Then I got back and my clothes again and then I had some sweets to eat. After I ate the sweets, I sat down in a chair and every group left but my group because Sergio’s dad was late. After about thirty minutes he finally got there. As soon as I got in the car, I tried a takis. They were so spicy, my lips burned. I had to drink all my water to get that spice off my lips!
We went down one street when we discovered that sergio’s lunchbox was gone we went back to the Coggan Family Aquatic Complex me and allan had to sit in the car for half an hour and when sergio and his dad came back they didn’t have the lunchbox we all predicted that his lunchbox was picked up by somebody in our class we got to school we went into aftercare and found out later that his lunchbox was gone. No one had picked it up from the floor (never found).
In science this year we did scratch and a lot of other things such as earthquakes and boxes with light bulbs.
If you are reading this please say you like it I put a lot of effort in to this. Fourth grade has been spectacular I really learned a lot and I hope I can improve even more than this year for example I can type faster than I used to.
Sincerly,
Clifton
