Hello! my name is Eleri and I will be telling you all about this class that you will go into and all of the fun activities, engineering challenges, exhibitions and projects you get to do this year read on and find out all about them.
ENGINEERING CHALLENGES:
So the first thing I will explain to you is engineering challenges. I absolutely LOVED the engineering challenges that we did. The first engineering challenges you start off with you think are really hard but when you get later on in the year you can clearly see that you start off with EASY ones.
One of the reasons Ms.Chown dose engineering challenges is because she wants all of us know how to work in a team and now all of the kids that were in room 15 last year are much better at working in a team.
PROJECTS:
Ah projects finally! Again, I LOVED all of the projects. Here is a chart of my favorite to least favorite projects.
1.Operation story cushion
2.Knowing me knowing you
3.yellow book road
Operation story cushion is a project that we just finished. Its a cushion that we made for children whose parents are in the military and it has their own design on it and a recording of their parents voices in the pillow.
Knowing me knowing you is a project that we did earlier in the year. And Room 15 drew portraits of ourselves and we had a exhibition at Con Pane and also at the exhibition we had biographies of us.
The Yellow book road project was where room 15 wrote animal stories but we had to chose our animal and we learned all about there biomes and if some of you don't know what biomes are it is the place the animals live in for example:the elephants live in the savannah and the snow leopards live in the Arctic tundra. And we put the books in YELLOW BOOK ROAD - a children's bookstore in Liberty Station.
