Hi, it's Tanner. The biggest challenge this year for me was how many projects we did this year. At one point we were doing one project with two important parts at once and because we were doing so much stuff it got really confusing. But I was resilient, so I was able to finish the project. One of the first biggest challenge this year for me was biographies. At the beginning of the year, it was really hard for me to write three-hundred and fifty words. I thought I was never going to finish. At that time I could only write about hundred-fifty words but now I can write about three-hundred words easily (as you can see in this blog post).
In our second project, the biggest challenge for me was making our animals. It was really hard getting the newspaper to look like a gorilla. I finally got it to look like a gorilla and then I started to plaster it. I was so close to finishing all I had to do was paint then I was done. It was hard to find the correct skin tone but I did it I was really excited that I had finished my gorilla.
Finally, another big challenge for me was sewing. It was really hard for me to thread a needle or to remember four different stitches but I kept trying and I could not do it. I would sometimes take my sewing home and work on it and slowly, slowly I would get better. I started to sew faster the more I practiced and soon enough I sewed my whole entire pillow in a day.
Hi, it's Isaac. My biggest challenge this year was math, every year math gets harder and harder.
Fourth grade was really tough for me because,fractions were really, really tough. But now I feel more confident because Ms. Chown was a really good teacher for fractions and I would also bring the fractions home.
Portraits were really hard too because we had to look at a mirror and draw at the same time “that’s tough” I said to myself when I was drawing myself. After that I got more and more excited about my portrait and now I love to draw {thank you Ms. Chown.}
