The day was before my birthday, friday the 27th of 2015 to be exact. We were interviewing professors! I was interviewing professor Putman who teaches history (my favorite thing to learn about)! So this obviously was not in my school it was in San Diego State University! If you are wondering why we went there it is because we were learning about what makes a good research question!
So now I am getting into the actual interview so we walked in and noticed we walked into the wrong room so we looked at the signs and noticed that we passed the right room so we walked in and saw professor Putman waiting for us at the door. He welcomed us in and told us where we could sit. So the interview had started Emily started by introducing us to professor Putman. She told him are names and where we were from and told him we had some questions here are the questions and the answers!YAY! We went to SDSU (San Diego State University)!

QUESTIONS... and ANSWERS...
1. What makes a good research question?
1. It is a question that has lots of answers.
2. What is action research?
2. You need to look at all the different clues and prove things.
3. What do we need to do to conduct action research ethically?
3. You need to be honest, careful, open-minded and accurate.
4. How do academic researchers share there research?
4. By meeting up with everyone else (they also said that they meet in big hotels and have big conferences.
The thing that was most interesting to me was when we were in the interview professor Putman took out a suitcase that he got from a person who was just giving them away (by the way for some reason they were personal).
Here are the things that it contained...
- Death certificate.
- Pictures of president Roosevelt at the beach.
- Pictures of family.
- Scrap book (Ripley's Believe or Not, christmas cards etc.).
- Letters from family members.
- and food.
Historians analyze these things from the past to help us understand what happened.
As you can see this was very interesting for me and it is because when I grow up I want to be something that has to do with history!
Thanks for reading and learning about SDSU! See you again!
