"We're here," said my dad. So we got out of the car. My dad took a couple of things from our school too our table. Brrrr... "I heard crazy driver," I thought to make myself laugh. "Oh wait, it's Ms. Chown, never mind." When she came out of her car, Ms. Chown told me and Dulce to find a place to put up the tent. We were on campsite 55. Me and Dulce found a perfect place. It was next to the rocks. On the rock there was copper. Copper is green (just so you know). Me moved all the sticks and twigs so we wouldn't hit our heads on them in the night - ow! |
I clicked it! "Yes!" I thought. My dad put me down. The tent looked soooooooooo big. I asked my dad, "Are you leaving?"
"Yes," said my dad. Tears started coming like a puddle. He said, "you'll be fine. In 10 minutes, you'll be playing, running and laughing."
"sniff, OK."
"Anelisa, can you help me put some stuff in our tent?" Ms. Chown said.
"OK," I said. "I just want to walk my dad to his car."
"OK." Ms. Chown said.
When I walked my dad to the car, I felt worse. "I don't want you to go!" "You're going to have lots of fun." "I love you!" "I love you more!" "Bye. Sniff. Bye." Vrrrrrrrrrrrr - the car drove away. By Anelisa PS Guess what? My dad was right! After ten minutes, I felt better. Now I know how to put up tents - yay! |
