This all how it began. It was the morning “AAAAA it is 7:30 we have to go” I said while running to get my backpack.
“Ok” my mom said. We got into the car and drove to school. I felt so good and excited because I don't get to share my work with people every day but today was the day of our exhibition.
When we got to school, I rushed to my classroom (number 15). There were a lot of people working every where. I had to get working. That was when I realized that I did not have a costume. "Emily, Emily! Help! I do not have a costume.” I said.
“OK, OK, I will make you a dolphin tale and a hand band.” Emily said kindly. I found blue and aquamarine tissue paper. Then Emily put blue on one side and aquamarine was inside of it. We found tin foil and she used it to make me a headband with a dolphin on the top of it.
“All done” Emily said “cool” i said. Just in time we were leaving. I had felt worried that I would have no costume but now I felt happy that I did.
“HALLE! HALLE!” I said when we were leaving. Where was she? Oh no, she was still at lunch! We counted off like we always do: "1!"
"2!"
"3!"
"4!"
etc. "Oh no, where is number 24?" I said. That is when I realized that Halle was missing. Luckily we found her. Five minutes past. We walked to YBR and talked along the way.
“We are here!” yelled Ms. Chown. Everybody was rushing to get to work so that when people came we were done.
People were there. We were supposed to read some of our story to them. This was mine:
The ocean was coral blue. I sometimes get lost but it still makes me feel happy. Oh hi, my name's Emma and I am a baby dolphin. I live with my mom, dad and Mr. Squid. Mr. Squid is not part of my family but he did not have a home. You would think that would make him nice but truly he is mean.

My job at the exhibition was the PR team. Here are the names of people on my team Addison, Ethan, ale, Halle, Emily, Soleil, and Peter. We had a lot of work to do before the exhibition making flyers and exhibition guides. At the exhibition, we had to pass out the flyers we had made. These helped people to know more about the project and to ask us great questions. I felt good because I guessed we would raise a lot of money for Words Alive.
When the exhibition was over, I went home my mom got me a gift: play-doh. I felt so good whn she got me that gift.
And that is how exhibition happened.
