Everybody had two interviews. My second interview was with somebody named professor Ulloa (but we called him Dr. Ulloa). We went into a conference room and waited for Dr. Ulloa to come. When he got there, we started to interview him.
Question: What makes a good research question?
Answer: A question that you have a good sense of what the answer might be, but you won’t know the answer without research.
Question: What is action research?
Answer: Research that helps the person who is conducting the research.
Question: What do we need to do to conduct research ethically?
Answer: You need to find creative ways to make sure you are not harming anybody with the research, and also, if you can’t come up with anything, let them know that they might get hurt.
Question: How do academic researchers share their research?
Answer: In articles that people put in journals.
After our interview we all met at the sundial, said thank you, and went back to school. I really enjoyed going to SDSU because I learned a lot from the professors there. I learned about what action research is, I learned what ethically means, and I even learned some things about turtles!
